MonoGuard
Description
HIGH PERFORMANCE WATERBORNE ANTICORROSIVE PRIMER and TOP COAT in one.
Based on acrylic resins and special anticorrosive solutions, AC MONOGUARD protects steel against corrosion and weathering.
C2 to C5 VH according ISO 12944-5
Application
Formulated with high quality pigments RD-MONOGUARD offers a very good outdoor durability. Less film thickness is necessary to achieve a similar level of protection when compared to other traditional system.
AC-MONOGUARD is an ideal solution for light and heavy renovation works.
2 coats are recommended for long term protection. Can be top coated with any finishing product from the RD-Coatings range for extra specific properties.
1 primer coat combined with a top coat for moderate protection.
A single coat system is possible on previously painted surfaces in need of an aesthetic refreshment.
1 coat directly onto weathered galvanised steel.
Substrates
The substrate has to be free of rust (norm St2 or Sa2,5), degreased, dry, and free of dust.
